The Purpose of this Blog

Do you have a loved one who is lost in the darkness of mental illness? Do you have such a person in your church or circle of friends and struggle with knowing what to say to them or how to help them? Are YOU a person who has mental health issues?

Do you suffer from pain or a debilitating illness? Do you question the existence of an all powerful, Sovereign God and wonder how such a God can also be loving and good? These are not new questions....they date back to the earliest days of mankind. These questions---and the answers to which I've been led---are discussed all throughout these posts.

Do you wonder if there is a light at the end of the tunnel?
Guess what? There is also a Light inside the tunnel!

Journey with me through my past 11 years (and counting) of illness, joy, mental illness, pain, hospitalizations, surgeries, musings about God, Good times --and not so good times.
My prayer is that you will be able to look beyond this broken, sinful woman, and see her incredible God...and that you would consider making Him your God as well.
